Encouragement

There are times in our lives when we feel so far from God we may barely hear Him whisper or not hear him at all. If we are honest in these times, we'll see that we're the ones that have left God's side - He didn't leave us. Nevertheless, we feel lost and hopeless and alone. Sometimes it's so difficult to find our way back to Him we get even more discouraged.

Here are some things to remember: God will never change. He's the same - always has been, always will be. If you are a child of God, He will always be there with you because the Holy Spirit dwells within you.

2 Corinthians 4:8 - 9  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Having faith in God is an important part in having Peace. Having the Peace of God is something that an unsaved person won't ever understand, let alone have. Salvation must come first though. Have you taken that step of faith in trusting that He can and will save you? It's as simple as A - B - C! Admit you're a sinner, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Confess and Call upon the Jesus to save you.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
